🦃 How Many Turkeys Has Mr Christmas Eaten?

When most people think of Christmas dinner, they think of once a year.For Andy Park — aka Mr Christmas — it’s every. single. day.

Since 14th July 1993, this festive fanatic from Melksham, Wiltshire, has been tucking into a full Christmas meal every day of his life. That’s over 30 years of turkey, roast potatoes, stuffing, and sherry. But have you ever wondered just how much of it he’s consumed?

Let’s do the maths. (Brace yourself. It’s a lot.)

🍗 The Great Turkey Tally

Andy says he eats a full Christmas lunch every day — and that always includes turkey.

• Days since July 14th, 1993: Over 11,500 days

• Turkeys eaten: One per day = 11,500 turkeys (Okay, maybe not entire turkeys every day — but enough slices to count!)

If each bird weighed around 5kg on average, that’s over 57 tonnes of turkey. Enough to feed a small city for a month.

🥧 Mince Pies? He’s Lost Count

Andy is also known to start his mornings with a mince pie. Assuming one per day:

• Mince pies eaten: 11,500

• Calories: At 250 calories each = 2.8 million calories from mince pies alone

• That’s the entire daily calorie allowance of a human being… for almost 4 years.

Sherry & Champagne

Mr Christmas is partial to a bit of festive cheer:

• Estimated units of sherry per day: 2

• Over 11,500 days: That’s 23,000 units

• He’s also known to enjoy the occasional glass of champagne(Let’s call it a very merry average)

🎁 And the Presents?

Every day, Andy wraps a present for himself to open.Yes — every single day.

That’s over 11,500 presents bought, wrapped, and opened — mostly by him, for him. He’s joked that he often forgets what’s inside, which makes the surprises feel genuine. (Honestly, genius.)

💌 Over 200,000 Christmas Cards

Mr Christmas isn’t stingy when it comes to spreading the love:

• He’s estimated to have sent over 235,000 cards over the years.That’s more than many people send in a lifetime — multiplied by about 300.

We can only imagine the Royal Mail’s reaction.
